Land, Sea, or Air…How will we travel?!
National Air and Space Museum (Dulles) field trip, Train Station picnic, Schoolbus tour, A day in Occoquan on the river… cars, trucks, planes, and trains! Where will the adventure take us?
Day and Night…A Camping we will go!!
The sun, the moon, the stars and more. Manassas Battlefield field trip, indoor and outdoor campsites complete with marshmallows on the camp fire. Bring your sleeping bag, your best friend (i.e. your favorite stuffed animal) and join the fun!
Dazzling Dinosaurs!!
Dino Park field trip, caves and prehistoric happenings. Dino sand dig, mountains of dirt, and hundreds of dinosaurs make this two weeks a “roaring” good time.
Lights, Camera, Action!!
Manassas Cinema field trip, movies, pictures, drama, dress-up, role play on the red carpet, popcorn, and more make this week an action packed adventure!!
Wacky Water Week!!
Signal Hill Waterpark field trip, Wellington Pool, water slide, water balloons, water squirt toys, and plain ole getting soaked with the hose. Bring your suit and suntan lotion…Promises to be a very wet and crazy two weeks!
Summer Olympics!!
SPORTS! SPORTS! SPORTS!
Days filled with mini lessons in football, basketball, soccer, t-ball, track, gymnastics, cheerleading, and dance topped off with a ”Tiny Olympics” finale complete with medals and trophies!
Zoo Antics!!
Reston Zoo field trip, costumes and crafts, and a zany zoo show to finish off our summer!!
***We will also participate in the Summer Quest Reading Program at the PW Library, Wednesday lunches at the Manassas Pavillion to enjoy the local bands playing, a lunch or two at McDonald’s, play time, crafts, and lunch with other local home daycare groups, an end of summer family Hawaiian Lua, and other special events***
2009-2010 School Year starts on Monday, September 14, 2009!!
